Saint Florent tourist site

Located on the Western frontage of the island, marking the entry of the Corsica Cape and built on the gulf to which it gave its name the seaside resort of Saint Florent is a most appreciated destination for French and Italian tourists. The city has a marina sheltering 720 stations of mooring including 220 intended for external boats. In summer, facing the port, many restaurants and glaciers give an animated night life at city. The city has in a protected site, splendid beaches accessible only by feet or by the sea (beaches of Lotu, Malfacu and Saleccia).

Guitar Nights

The nights of the guitar take place each year, at the beginning of July and receive famous international artists. This year are envisaged Jeff Beck, Sean Lennon and Zucchero.

Summer at the rhythms of Porto Latino

This festival of the latino which is held at the beginning of August has vocation to produce known artists but also young talents in a hurry to hatch.

A famous wine area

In an established gastronomical tradition country, a few kilometres far from Saint-Florent, the village of Patrimonio surrounded by vineyards knew to make its place in the very closed club of the quality wines. That is due to quality of the grounds, type of vine and ancestral know-how of the local vine growers. In a more general way Corsican cuisine gives various infos on the gastronomy of the island.
